About the Event
Indulge in a 5-course gourmet dinner crafted by our chefs Anssi Riihimäki and Ronni Hedegaard, along with the talented Aihki kitchen team. Each course will be paired with a carefully curated champagne, selected by Finland’s leading champagne expert and Master of Wine, Essi Avellan.
Throughout the evening, Essi will guide guests through the champagne pairings, unveiling behind-the-scenes stories from the world of sparkling wine. The meticulously designed menu and premium champagnes promise a sensory experience that is guaranteed to delight even the most discerning palate.
Essi Avellan is one of Finland’s most esteemed wine experts and an internationally recognized Master of Wine. Known especially for her expertise in champagne, Essi’s works – including the award-winning Christie’s World Encyclopedia of Champagne and Sparkling Wines – have gained global acclaim. She has been honored with several prestigious titles, such as Dame-Officier of Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne and Chevalier l’Ordre du Mérite Agricole.
