Sunday Morning Resort Leading the Way in Responsible Tourism as an STF Pioneer

Responsibility is currently playing a central role in the long-term development of the tourism industry. International tour operators increasingly demand more precise proof of responsibility from Finnish travel destinations. For this purpose, Visit Finland launched the Sustainable Travel Finland program (STF) in 2019. The program is built around ecological, socio-cultural, and economic responsibility. Commitment to responsibility and its development is also required.

The demands for responsibility from international tour operators and other stakeholders have grown and continue to grow. The entire business of Experience Pyhä is also built on emphasizing responsibility and sustainability.

"We will continue to focus on our ideology and values in the future", says Chairman of the Board Kimmo Loippo.

The innovative energy solutions of Experience Pyhä, as well as solutions related to ventilation and heat recovery, are genuine pioneering work. Experience Pyhä is also the world's first tourism company whose all snowmobiles used for safaris operate on electricity, and it has its own separate charging network for electric snowmobiles.

"In the future, we will communicate about responsibility more actively towards all our partners. In the future, we also hope that all our partners will develop their own responsibility protocols as the international level of requirements rises. We are happy to provide more information and tips", Loippo encourages.
